Ped

Added

Home and Quick Look

Inspect clothing files from Home without creating a project. Quick Look opens models, textures and cloth physics files without GTA V data, and can continue into analysis or a saved project. Open it with Ctrl+Q, manage recent projects, or close a project to return Home.

Added

Dockable workspace

Arrange the editor, preview, findings and logs around your workflow. Dock, float or hide panes, keep your layout between sessions, and restore defaults when needed.

Added

Detachable preview tools

Move Preview tools into their own window and keep more room for your clothing. Use compact controls, nearby help and editable Ped values. Tool settings and window placement are remembered.

Added

Outfits and the Ped tab

Try several clothes together and change game clothes and props directly in the preview. Manage worn items from Outfit, choose supporting body parts from Ped, and save your preferred setup. Manual choices and cloth support profiles stay in control.

Added

Menyoo character import

Load a Menyoo freemode character with game clothes, props and supported face settings. Use matching installed game content for the closest result. Imported appearance is for preview; check unsupported or adjusted values reported by DCT.

Added

Custom Ped profiles

Save a matching body and skeleton setup with your clothing for future previews. Choose game, project or imported body parts, or leave a support slot empty. Profiles travel with the cloth through saves, copies, packages and exports.

Added

Reduce body clipping in preview

Reduce distracting skin poking through clothes while inspecting your outfit. Enable Reduce body clipping in preview under View > Quick view. This Experimental aid may need manual adjustment for custom bodies or animation. Source files and exports stay unchanged.

Improved

Clothing materials and colours

Inspect hair, fur, transparent clothing and supported skin tones with more faithful previews. Adjust supported hair colours, tints, fabric detail, wetness, sweat and wind effects. Saved item colours carry into thumbnails and exports. Camera framing stays in place during changes. Preview effects still need in-game testing.

Added

Cloth physics and wind

Preview supported YLD cloth movement with animation and adjustable wind. Check drape, body clipping and cloth warnings, adjust wind, and restart a paused simulation with Reset simulation. The preview does not replace a test in your target game.

Added

Studio lighting

Inspect clothing under even Studio lighting or switch to Sun and Custom lighting. Studio is the default. Sun and Custom expose the relevant shadow, HDR and time-of-day controls.

Improved

Camera and animation

Frame clothes and props more easily and test them with a larger animation selection. Quick Look, Model Optimizer and the Ped preview share familiar camera controls. Reset returns to a front view, autofocus follows the focused item, and props stay attached during playback. Pick a quick animation or add your own YCD files.

Added

Textured wireframe

Show mesh edges over the focused clothing while retaining its texture. Inspect the garment's geometry and LODs without changing the rest of the outfit.

Improved

Preview reliability

Open, resize and refresh previews more reliably, including on software graphics. Fixes preview startup, texture-loading and recovery failures. Tools stay accessible, remember expanded sections and explain unavailable controls.

Added

Live Texture Editing

Edit a garment in your own image editor and see each save in the 3D preview. Edit supported diffuse, normal or specular textures as PNG or DDS. Save to cloth keeps the result and creates history; Discard restores the project version. One session runs at a time and requires an active license.

Added

Visual item browsing

Browse clothing and variations with thumbnails and larger hover previews. Previews generate in the background and update as items change. Texture variations load faster, with clearer progress and recovery when an image cannot be created.

Added

Thumbnail and image exports

Generate clothing images for one item or a whole project, then sync changes to a folder. Choose size, background, camera, naming and scope. Review the plan, cancel a run, and keep files you created outside DCT. Export features require the applicable paid tier.

Added

GLB export

Export clothing variations as GLB models for use outside DCT. Export one variation, a drawable or the whole project with supported materials and selected colours. Requires the applicable paid export entitlement.

Improved

Cloth Analysis and repair actions

Find more clothing quality and compatibility problems, with direct actions where DCT can help. Review rigs, heels, hair colour support, LODs, textures, tattoos, cloth physics and game-limit findings. Open the relevant item or tool from the Error List and get clearer guidance for in-game checks.

Added

Ignored findings

Keep reviewed exceptions out of your working findings list. Ignore a finding for one item, one texture or a rule. The project remembers the decision, which you can change later.

Added

Model Optimizer

Reduce clothing polygons and generate missing LODs with a before-and-after preview. Review one drawable or a project-wide plan, adjust reduction settings, exclude items and undo the previous run while backups remain. Model optimization requires Ultimate and still needs in-game inspection.

Added

Texture Optimizer

Review and optimize texture sizes, compression and mipmaps in one workflow. Scan variations and embedded textures, choose changes and compare the result. Clearer skipped-item and save-failure messages help finish a run. A selection needs an active license; whole-project runs require Ultimate.

Added

UV space optimization

Reduce texture space wasted around the parts your clothing uses. Crop unused space or repack separate UV islands, keeping matching variations and maps together. Review savings and skipped items, exclude a drawable or undo the result. Requires Ultimate.

Added

Normal and specular map generation

Create missing normal and specular maps for supported clothing. Preview generated detail and shine, choose a preset or adjust options, and save or undo the result. Existing maps are respected. Texture optimization preserves supported material channels. Requires Ultimate.

Added

Filters, tags and search

Find clothing with filters, colour tags, saved presets and ranked search. Switch between grouped and flat views, sort by date changed or model and texture cost, and open findings for one item. Display sorting keeps drawable order unchanged. Reopened projects remember selection and expanded groups.

Added

Duplicate clothing and props

Create independent copies of selected clothing and props. Duplicate for the same gender or copy to the other gender from the right-click menu. Copies append in order and leave reserved positions intact.

Improved

Ordering and renaming

Reorder and rename several items with a clearer preview of the result. Drag selected drawables or textures together, see their drop position, and preview sequential names before applying them. Reordering no longer causes a list error.

Added

Built-resource import

Bring existing clothing packs, projects and exports into your project after reviewing the contents. Import supported FiveM and legacy resources or a Singleplayer dlc.rpf, including split packs. Supported metadata and reserved positions are preserved without replacing the open project's settings. Requires an active license.

Improved

File import and embedded textures

Import clothing more reliably, including models with their textures embedded. DCT finds more texture naming patterns, supports file drops onto empty lists and texture rows, and reports unavailable files while letting you continue with the rest.

Added

Find duplicates

Review identical clothing and texture variations before removing unwanted copies. Compare thumbnails and previews, filter by clothing type, choose which copy stays and keep intentional duplicates. Reserved slots and unique variations are protected.

Added

Bulk metadata editing

Apply shared metadata to a selection or a filtered project in one action. Choose fields, review affected items, and preserve per-texture price overrides and drawable order. Requires Ultimate.

Added

Shop and outfit metadata

Configure prices and forced or variant outfit items per texture variation. Copy a setup across variations and keep references correct when items move. Singleplayer shops can use the output directly; multiplayer needs a compatible script.

Fixed

Clothing metadata

Build hair, tattoo and clothing metadata more consistently. Hair alternates, head-prop hair controls, tattoo gender and names, and supported heel-related settings retain their intended values.

Added

Build Project

Review the target, destination and generated resources before building. Keep setup, progress and completion in one window, with explained options, elapsed time, a remaining-time estimate and a useful next action. Large builds are faster and can be canceled.

Added

Automatic resource splitting

Build large projects as coordinated resources when one pack is not enough. Split by supported collection limits or chosen output size and deploy the complete set. Large Singleplayer packs can use additional archives; check that Experimental layout in your target game. Replacement collections keep their restrictions.

Added

Per-pack replacement

Replace a known DLC, base-game clothing or a named collection for each generated pack. Review replacement choices and collection usage in Build Project. Check output against your intended game build.

Added

FiveM Enhanced

Choose Legacy or Enhanced when building a FiveM clothing project. DCT prepares supported clothing assets for the chosen edition. Existing projects stay on Legacy. Enhanced currently supports addon output and excludes managed Asset Escrow and active replacement packs.

Added

FiveM server capacity checks

Check a local server resources folder for combined clothing and streaming risks. Review warnings for clothing capacity, shop entries and conflicting resource identities. Inaccessible content is marked as partial. Splitting a pack does not remove server-wide limits.

Added

Asset Escrow clothing

Organize clothing from several eligible Asset Escrow resources in one FiveM project. Keep the supplied protected resources together and deploy the complete generated bundle. This Experimental workflow requires entitled source resources and testing on the target FiveM server.

Added

YLD XML companions

Attach a YLD XML companion to a clothing component and include it in packages and builds. Choose the companion file manually when required. This does not add cloth-physics output for props.

Fixed

Safer build output

Confirm the destination before replacing output and stop incomplete builds before deployment. Declining the non-empty-folder prompt or stopping on item errors preserves previous output. DCT reports invalid packs, missing tattoo or overlay textures and temporary file locks, and handles special characters in descriptions more reliably.

项目、授权与应用

18 项变更
Added

Project History

Restore a whole project, one drawable or a texture variation after important edits. Review what changed, including model or texture differences and optimizer actions. Up to 100 entries are kept; cleanup can remove files needed by older entries. Automatic recovery backups remain separate.

Fixed

Project saving and recovery

Save, export and reopen projects more reliably, with backups when something goes wrong. Fixes Experimental save and embedded-texture edit failures. Failed saves keep unsaved changes for retry. Moving, renaming or reconnecting a project's data folder preserves its files, and unreadable projects can offer a readable recovery backup.

Improved

Large-project performance

Start, import, browse, save and optimize large projects with less waiting. Progress stays visible during lengthy work, thumbnail lists scroll more smoothly, and the preview responds faster to selection and texture changes. Automatic backups run with fewer interruptions.

Added

Findings and support logs

Search, filter, copy and export findings and project logs more easily. Jump from a finding to its clothing or texture, focus on useful results, and export a complete English log for support.

Improved

Error reporting and recovery

Unexpected errors offer a support reference and a way to add useful details. Automatic reports can be disabled in Options. When DCT cannot continue, it attempts to preserve unsaved work and explains recovery options.

Added

Discord sign-in

Manage your Forge subscription and activate this PC from Account & License. See tier, renewal and device status, refresh or retry account actions, and get recovery guidance. Valid installed licenses remain usable offline and manual activation is available.

Security

Device license recovery

Recover license access after a supported device change while keeping one active device. Signing in can restore access after a Windows reinstall or hardware change. Activating another device ends use on the previous one. Account & License explains the current state and recovery from license or clock problems.

Added

Updates and What's New

Choose Release or Experimental, review changes and follow download progress inside DCT. The version indicator and Updates page show progress and the next action. What's New keeps readable notes with supported images and clips, and the launcher offers Release recovery. Settings and licenses survive normal updates.

Fixed

Startup and shortcuts

Open DCT reliably from its launcher, Desktop and Start Menu after updates. Installed shortcuts keep opening the working application through updates and channel changes.

Added

Custom keyboard shortcuts

Assign or change shortcuts for menu actions and preview controls in Options. See the active shortcut in each menu, resolve conflicts and restore defaults when needed.

Added

Nine interface languages

Start in a supported Windows language and choose from nine interface languages. English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Hindi and Arabic are available. Your selected language is remembered.

Breaking

Project format V8

Projects saved in this version require a build that can read format V8. Older projects remain readable and upgrades keep a backup. Keep it if you need an older build. New packages and exports also require a compatible version.

Breaking

Free project limits

Free projects are limited to 10 clothing drawables in total and 5 per type and gender. An existing project above those limits needs an active license to open. Its files stay unchanged when opening is refused.

Breaking

Advanced tool access

Advanced options remain visible and require the appropriate license to edit. Model, UV, map-generation and advanced thumbnail options require Ultimate. Texture-only advanced settings are available with Advanced or Ultimate. Saved choices are retained when access changes.

Improved

Legacy multiplayer targets

alt:V and RageMP builders are marked as deprecated. Existing workflows remain available after confirmation. New projects default to FiveM.

Security

Safer downloads and updates

Official downloads identify their Windows publisher and are checked before installation or recovery. Verify the Schmid Software Solutions publisher when Windows prompts you. Installer and portable downloads include the files needed to run DCT. Windows may still warn about a newly released download.

Security

Safer imports and exports

Reject unsafe package and output locations while protecting existing files. Interrupted or failed exports keep the previous complete file, and invalid input is reported before it can redirect work outside the selected destination.

Security

Private license diagnostics

Detailed license diagnostics stay in local support logs. Automatic problem reports do not include those license checks. Review support information before sharing it.
